[Q] Gra nie działa po skopiowaniu od kolegi

Witam.

 

Mam problem.Skopiowałem grę od kolegi wchodzę na stronke i biorę "Play Now" zaczyna sie od nowa pobierac :/, lecz gdy pobieram gre wyskakuje mi bład.

Co robic.

Proszę o pomoc.

skasuj wszystkie pliki związane z bfem i pobierz od nowa

Ta gra jest jakoś... powiązana z przeglądarką, więc nic nie da skopiowanie/przegranie ją od znajomego. Musisz od nowa zainstalować, lecz najpierw usuń cały katalog i wszelkie pliki powiązane z grą.

Usuń i zainstaluj od nowa wtyczkę Battlefield Play4Free. Jak posiadasz firefox'a wejdź w "Narzędzia" --> "Dodatki" --> "Batlefield Play4Free...", obok tej wtyczki będzię opcja "Usuń", wybierz ją następnie wejdź ponownie na stronę główną, zaloguj się, kliknij w Play Now poczym pobierz wtyczkę.

Pobierz grę od nowa- pamiętaj aby wcześniej na Twoim komputerze nie było żadnych plików związanych z tą grą!

Windows XP... hmm... masz Service Pack'a czy nie? A zmienić przeglądarkę to nic trudnego, wpisujesz w google nazwę przeglądarki (np. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox bądź Internet Explorer, nawet możesz spróbować na Operze), pobierasz, instalujesz, uruchamiasz i gotowe.

Domyślną przeglądarką dla BF jest IE, więc zainstaluj na niej.

 

 

Yeah, I mean, it didn't want to download the config file on Mozilla. However I got this working with Internet Explorer.

 

IE had connection problems. I just brought back the default settings from Internet Explorer. In other words: Tools -> Internet-Settings -> Extra Settings -> Restore. Then restarted. Then connection appeared. And in BFH site pressing "Play now!" worked just fine.

 

I'm so relieved. I was almost getting fed up with this error, even though it hasn't even been for a day.

 

 

Look if you have a tempPatch directory in your game directory. If yes, delete it and refresh the playnow page... should be updating fine...

 

Worked for me, hope it works for you too!

 

BTW: I have Vista 32-bit and using Firefox 3.5.2

 

 

The problem was that I'm using mozzila.and funny thing is my internet explorer was set on "offline mode" and I was screwed....so....yeah *runs and hides*

 

 

I changed the security settings in Firefox and that seemed to fix this "failed to download config file" problem for me. Under Options-->Security I added

https://www.battlefieldheroes.com

to exceptions and I also unchecked 'blocked reported attack sites'. I cleared my cache, restarted my browser, and it all worked again.

 

 

I was playing the game on Firefox browser when i got the error, since reinstalling didn't help i tried my luck by opening the game on IE instead of firefox. Strangely enough it ran the updater there so i let it finish the updater, after that i closed the game on IE and opened it on Firefox again.

Error was gone and i'm able to play again.

 

Hopefully none gets this error but if you should, try this solution to get rid of it.

Next time we know: First checking proxy settings (IE -> Extras -> Settings -> Connection -> LAN Settings -> disable Proxy Settings)...

 

For Offline Mode:

- open IE and click on the "File" menu

- look if "Offline Mode" (the second entry from bottom, right above "Close") is checked

- if it is, just click that option again, and the check mark should be away and you should be able to open any internet site

 

For Proxy:

- open IE and go to "Extras"->"Internet settings" (the last entry in this menu)

- at the new window, change to the "Connections" tab (upper left, above "General")

- at the bottom of the window there should be a button named "LAN-settings"

- click on it

- make sure that the "Use Proxy" option is not activated

- if it is activated, uncheck the box and close the windows by pressing OK

 

 

I repaired it. Go to : My Computer > Control Panels > System and Security (where firewall settings are) > Firewall > Settings where you can allow programs get trough firewall > and allow there Protocol SSTP. It will work then

apparently even if you're using firefox to install the game, it uses the internet explorer settings to download and install the game. what i had todo was to fix the connection settings on internet explorer (i had a proxy setting that wasn't working).
