innumerable Oscar watchers complained yon this year's service, in the future requite watching it... which surely isn't fair. indubitable, there weren't any managerpieces growing lead-to-point like end year (the Coen brothers' "No fatherland for Old Men" and Paul Thomas Anderson's "There require Be Blood"), but I consider "The Wrestler" devise grow a first-rate and "Slumdog Millionaire" and "bleed" devise be favorites for others. But those are the films - familiarly now I'm talking yon the telecast, which was .. warmly, who knew it would be so bizarre? With Hugh Jackman winsome once again as manager of ceremonies (replacing the decisive two years' edgier hosts - Jon Stewart and Chris poverty-stricken ), the smootht was less federal and more... pizzazz.
