Many students living far from big cities encounter the problem of boarding schools. If they want to continue their education, they would have to attend one. Such schools are usually far away from their homes. The question is are those schools a good thing?

                Firstly, a boarding school is a great way to learn how to live on your own. You need to do all your daily chores by yourself. That teaches us independency and helps us when we graduate and set off to find a job and a place to live.

                Boarding schools also have their downsides – you have to live in your building with many other people, having almost no privacy. If this wasn’t enough, you’ll most likely encounter people wo you might not like.

                Another problem with such schools is your free time. You’ll rarely be seeing your parents and family due to the distance between you (such trips usually take up a whole day). In a new city you won’t have any relatives and if you won’t make friends fast you’ll be left alone.

                Summing this up, boarding schools are most likely a bad thing. They throw young people into the adult world where they have to care for themselves and have nobody who can help. Those schools should be avoided unless it’s necessary to go to one.
