We are happy to announce that the recent issue with Jewel Duping has been resolved. The Rollback to April 1st WILL occur so that market prices will be normal again on both Realms. We have gone after the accounts that originated this hack, and the remaining duplicates have been removed from the game . It should also be said that a vast majority of these duped blesses were immediately sold to the NPCs for Zen (to attempt to hide it perhaps, although that didn’t work.) Once the overall market prices began to go crazy, that Zen they just stole was not worth the same amount anymore, so in the end they ended up hurting themselves before they could make any progress.

 

Lahap, the NPC that dissolves and combines Jewels of Soul and Bless, will not be in-game for the time being. This removal of the NPC has happened before (long ago) and the way we worked around it temporarily was to have [Mm]s in-game performing this via trades. We will have the Mms available in-game for this, the best thing to do is to send a message to them in-game. All the [Mm]s are aware of this and will be helping dissolve and combine jewels for those of you that need the service. We apologize for the inconvenience.

 

The Rollback to April 1st should also be explained a bit: Yes, it is true that there were instances of this dupe going back before April 1st, but the economy as a whole was not affected severely until this date. Rolling back any farther would not be a smart move, and NOT rolling back is also out of the question. . The drastic move to roll back was the only way to assure that the game could go back to normal prices, while fixing the duping issue once and for all.

 

The time of Chaos has officially ended, you will notice this in the recognizable market prices and influx of players. We will be having a 9XP event until the end of the month to make up for the EXP lost. After going over all the suggestions given here, and speaking with the producers of the game and the System Admins, they have decided that having the EXP event is the priority for a majority of the players. The medal event and 2Xdrop scheduled for the beginning of the month will be postponed, but the remainder of the months events are unaffected.

 

Since the entire reason for the Rollback was to stabilize the economy, having a large special item drop event right now would be counter-productive. Our Aesir event that starts April 18th will include a very large amount of good drops, some of which are the same items that would be dropped by Green, Red, or Blue Ribbons (same “pull list”). Having a general, server-wide drop (such as medals or Blue Ribbons) right now would not allow the economy to go back to normal right away, and we do not want to have another day pass without a solid in-game economy. This is the only way.

 

The 9XP for the rest of the month is on and all in-game events and times should be back to normal. We will have information from Webzen very soon as to when Lahap can be safely restored to the game, but for the time being, he will not be available.

 

All payment options are back up, all services are available, all accounts will automatically be given 14 days of the appropriate credit (Silver or Gold), and as mentioned, there will be a 9XP event until the end of the month.

 

Many of you will notice that connectivity issues now result when trying to use a 3rd party program (like a bot or hack) and server bypasses have stopped working. We suggest removing any of these programs, running a full system scan, and re-installing the game.

 

The events for next month will reflect more of your suggestions you have voiced here, and we thank you for your understanding.
