Server Installation (v2.00+)

 

Back up your saves files! You never know what's going to happen.

Open a clean minecraft_server.jar.

If you already modded your server with, at least Forge 3.2.5+?Recommended 3.3.8+?, you may skip to step 6

To open the file you need an extraction software like WinRAR or 7-Zip

Download and install the recommended Minecraft Forge server (you need at least v3.2.5); follow the installation instructions on the page

Close the jar file

Grab the latest release of the Trains Mod server version from the downloads page

Download the TrainModServer.zip file and move it into the modsfolder

If that folder does not exist, you should run your server once, or simply create the mods folder and move the ZIP file there
