Words of the crew, Feedback collection & new tweaks

 

 
 

We are so happy to be back to the scene after a while, at exact time when people are asking us for a “comeback”. Although we as a crew were so disappointed, to be more exact we were downhearted about what happened with our previous Eryx, because we did put a lot of expectations, work, effort & time on it and it didn’t turn out to be as we expected.

 

So this time after the pressure made by many of our followers/players (you can easily check our previous EP topic & the comments on our old posts), we decided to comeback, but to make sure that every single point which was considered as our weaknesses last time to be covered and fixed, so we did a solid feedback study/collection and we were able to detect all of points of weaknesses and we made sure to fix and eliminate them completely.

These words are for the people who are going to say “Eryx always reopen, etc.”, and my answer is Eryx never reopened like other servers do, just a simple wipe and here you go server is online, EVERYTIME Eryx opened we had new feature (not speaking about new avatars & new silly items), but we always had new game content and essential changes and different ways to get it, that’s why every single Eryx had more players & followers than the previous/former one, I can list every single Eryx and what was added to each one, but for the sake of space, in a reply I will do that.
 
 
Feedback and recent tweaks
We have observed through your feedback some points:-
 
First: On previous Eryx’s job activity got really low, because that people were focusing on farming seal of star items and didn’t focus on jobbing activity to get the moon items, so we solved it by doing it like Fiadora that star items will be +1 better than 8D last tier items & that we removed the seal of star weapons, regarding the seal of moon, it is going to be 2.5 better than the 8D last tier items.
 
Second: People complained about the moon items being dropped by our special Uniques, so we took care of the rates and made them lower, after all it is not fun to find people walking around with moon weapons after a week or two.
 
Third: And the most important HWID/PC limit, we took care of this point and we have acquired one that we are sure that will do the job, and as a result it will help to boost the gameplay in general, since it will help in limiting job, CTF, FW & BA to one account per pc, so we are going to have less abusers, and more controlled gameplay.
Regarding people who join CTF & BA and stay AFK, now they gonna get kicked if they still AFK for a certain time.
Includes also some stuff which gonna help to control the game-play, like a thief can't pick goods in towns or safe zones, a Trader can't destroy his transport pet in cities aka safe-zones, we hope it will help to control the game-play more.
In order to get rid of the goods away from the cities aka safe-zones you need to click on the ground first, then second dismount/destroy the transport pet.
 
Fourth: We added trade route, something which people were asking about since long time, But it is gonna be opened several times per day, a timer will be added on the website. Moreover we have noticed that after people hit the gold coin limit the job activity get low, so we decided that people who did hit their GC limit they will receive a lot of random rewards (immos - astrals- silks - special avatars - globals etc.) it will depend on luck, you will be receiving every time something different with different quantities.
 
Fifth: Interactive events hosted by our team, one of the things that people have missed on our Previous Eryx. Yes automatic events are great, but they can’t handle events like individual & cooperative fight events to determine the best str, int, fighting duo & strongest player on Eryx, winners of these events will be rewarded by titles and other rewards, these events will be held once a week.
 
Last: For the first time,
We are proud to announce the security and log of your account is now accessible to you and managed by you,

Game-play, Cheating Control & HWID:
 
 

 

HWID/PC limit, we took care of this point and we have acquired one that we are sure that will do the job, and as a result it will help to boost the gameplay in general, since it will help in limiting job, CTF, FW & BA to one account per pc, so we are going to have less abusers, and more controlled gameplay.

 

 
Regarding people who join CTF & BA and stay AFK, now they are going to get kicked if they stay AFK for a certain time.
 
Regarding job activity, a thief can't pick goods in towns or safe zones, a Trader can't destroy his transport pet in cities aka safe-zones, we hope it will help to control the game-play more. But important: In order to get rid of the goods away from the cities aka safe-zones you need to click on the ground first, then second dismount/destroy the transport pet.
 
Exchange is disabled during CTF, BA & FW.
Resurrection is disabled during CTF & BA.
Reverse scrolls use is disabled during job mode.
Stall 20 seconds delay.
Restart button is disabled.
Fellow pet glitches are fixed.

Important Notes & How to get rid of Job/Guild penalties:

 

 
 

It is highly recommended to re-log once after a player reaches level 80.

 

 
If you want to get rid of the job penalty (Note: after leaving your current job, you receive 1 day penalty before joining another one), please leave the guild or the job and teleport more than 1 time or re-log, Especially when you leave job, 
when you join back an other Job you will need to create an alias, create random one & press confirm & it will say name already exist,
teleport one time and put on your job suit & it will work.
 
When you finish your job activity you should re-log in order to get your coins or real gold.
 
Pick pets aren't trade-able to prevent any in-game bug.
 
 

 

 

 

Leveling up:
 

To keep it simple, leveling up is not hard neither that easy. We made sure to keep it moderate so you don't get bored of getting to the max level neither feel it is so fast. Also, we believe leveling up can be entertaining, so it shouldn't be that easy to achieve the maximum level.

Our sox items:

First:
 

Seal of Star is +1 stronger than the normal 8D, and they are droppable from all mobs which are over level 76. 

 

You've got higher chances to drop SoS at the Job Temple.
 

 
 

 

 
 

Second:

 

 

Seal of Moon is our main weapon/equipment/accessory to earn. It is +2.5 stronger than the normal 8D. 

 

 
These moon items are not tradable they are character bound (Legs - Chest - Head - Weapons - Necklace - Earings).
 
These are the tradable moon items (Rings - Foot - Shoulders - Hands).
 
Regarding coins:
 
Copper coins: you can buy them from Seal of Eryx shop (Hotan). Every copper coin costs 250 million gold (Attention: copper coins are sold to npc for 1 gold and they are non tradable coins). 
 
Silver coins: you can get them from CTF (Per each kill), Battle arena, minions or STR/INT uniques. As drops, they are non trade-able coins.
 
Gold coins: they are obtained from jobbing. After you sell goods as a trader/thief/hunter, restart your client and you will find them in the storage. You must be lvl 80 to get gold coins. 
Gold coin limit is restarted on Monday 00:00, they are non tradable coins. (remember: our gold coin limit per week is 80 coins)

Third:
 
 

 

Blood of Eryx is +2.5 better than normal. These weapons are tradable and can be obtained from uniques:

 

 
-Eryx (highest rate of dropping them, it appears across the entire map every 6 hours);

Special Trade Route:
 

 

 

The Special Trades Route is going to open during special bargain times and the profits gained will be more than the normal routes, so the STR will be opened twice a day:

 

First at 01:00 until 04:00 server time.
Second at 18:00 until 22:00 server time.
and we have a timer on our website that declares when it opens and it's duration.
You can access the STR from Jangan only as a Trader or a Hunter.
Thieves have teleports ready to STR route located in thief town.
You cannot teleport to the start of the STR with a transport pet.

After i reach the gold coin limit? :

  Roc:

 

 

Roc is one of the strongest uniques featured in our server in order to add more fun to the game-play. Of course, after it was edited to fit our 8D 

 

server.

INT/STR Uniques:

 

Concerning the fact that the upper hand in killing uniques is given to INT characters, we decided to add STR/INT uniques. 

 

 
Such uniques were added to be spawned using normal uniques spawn points, so STR players would have a higher chance to own some uniques. These uniques drop (Silver coins - Immortals & astrals - Silk items).
 

 
 

 

 
 

Devil/Spirit:

 

Devil spirit is added in item mall as a visual enhancement for your character, adds a Speed buff and increases damage towards monsters.

  Eryx Hall and Abyss Prison:

 

 

Eryx Hall is a room where Eryx minions spawn. The only way to teleport there is wearing a job suit and having 1 copper coin in your inventory via hotan teleport, as seen in the screenshot below.

 

 
Abyss Prison is a place where you can farm your Master skill. Abyss Berserkers and Abyss Witch can be found there. The entrance is 50m gold. It can be entered via the same teleporter in hotan as Eryx Hall.

Wanted System:

 

One of the features which adds more fun to the job, so for every 10 kills u get granted a buff, we applied a maximum on kills which is 50.

 

 
 

 

Shops Added:

 

 

At Hotan town, as shown in the following, picture you can find the following shops added:

 

 
Eryx Titles shop: here, you can buy titles scrolls and activate them to get special titles. They can be bought using Eryx points.
 
Fellow Pets NPC: here you can buy your fellow pets using Eryx points.
 
Coin NPC: here, you can buy all kinds of items that can be purchased by Eryx points, but instead, you can buy them using coins (silver-gold-unique). You can also buy stones here. 
This NPC contains many items (Immortals - Astrals - Silk items - All kinds of green stones) which could be purchased using all types of coins (Silver - Iron - Arena - Copper) so if you are not a donor you just need to work harder to farm coins.
 
Avatar NPC: here, you have extra avatars besides the ones we already have in the item mall. You can buy these avatars using Eryx points.
 
Eryx Shop: here you can buy lottery tickets using gold.
 
Eryx Silk Merchant: here, you can buy a lot of items (special scrolls, model switchers, type changers, silk scrolls, eryx goods). Every item has it's own explanation included. You can buy these items using Eryx points.
 
Seal of Eryx Shop: Here you can buy our weapons/equipments/accessories items which are moon items. You need an amount of coins to buy each item.

Switchers

 

 

We added this feature for people who love other degrees look. It is important to say that it's only a switch of the look - stats stays the same. Our swicthers are for 8D items and you can switch their look until 14D. (again, stats & the plus never change just the look)

 

 
 

 

 

Master skills:

 

The Master Skills are available for every mastery and are worth 100m Skill Points. They were designed to be farmed in the Abyss Prison because every monster there gives huge amount of sp. They can be used once every 12 hours. Also, these skills have high power and new visuals that will leave you impressed by the effects and the damage.

 

 
 

 

 
 

Temple:

 

The entrance to the temple is changed to the Abyss tunnels on Taklamakan, with level restriction and job restriction as well.

 

 
The mobs inside it drop Sos items on a higher rate than normal mobs & silk items. Temple uniques also drop valuable items including Blood weapons.
