Will old Skyrim saves play with Skyrim Legendary Edition?

 

I just recently got hooked on playing Skyrim. I got a copy with my new Xbox at the beginning of the year. And after looking at the prices of the DLC, I would rather just buy the legendary edition and get all the DLC at one time. What I need to know is if my current game will open up with the Legendary version? This way I don't have to start all over again.

Yes, your game saves will work as it's still the same game. 2 discs come with the legendary edition.

 

Disc one is the same exact original Skyrim game

 

Disc two is the DLC installer. After you install the DLC, you never need to use this disc again.
