Hi Mark!  

Sorry I haven't written in a while - I was studying for my final exams. I got the gift from you yesterday - thank you! I didn't think you'd remember about my birthday! 

As soon as I got the backpack I tried it on - looks great! No wonder, since it  costs so much. I'm going to carry books in it, but also it'll find use during field trips.  

It was my birthday last week. I had friends over, but after some time we were bored with celebrating and went out to play football. After we got tired we went back inside and spend the evening playing board games. 

You're probably curious what other things I got - nothing interesting. I got cash from my relatives and sweets and books from my friends.  

Okay, I got to finish now - more studying ahead!
